- Open the patient profile in ImmsBC in In-Clinic Experience (ICE) or Clinic in a Box (CIB)
- Go to the “Related Tab”
- Scroll down to the “Active Consent” Section
- Click on “New”
- Record and save the details of Consent as appropriate for the vaccine agent the patient will be vaccinated with. Consent should be obtained for each COVID-19 vaccine booster and annually for the influenza vaccine.
- When a provider creates an immunization record for the same vaccine agent it will say that “This Client has already provided Consent for the selected agent” (see image 2)
- Proceed to enter the rest of the immunization record details
