Updated Oct 1, 2026
Effective July 1, 2026, BCPhA’s role in providing technical support for the ImmsBC system has transitioned to the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) and the Ministry of Health’s OneHealthID Service Team.
Claiming a pharmacy, adding/removing accounts, managing staff accounts and adding a new pharmacy
Pharmacy users can now self-manage the addition/removal of ImmsBC accounts for their staff, change account access levels and account statuses (active/inactive).
In addition there is now a self-service option to request the addition of a new pharmacy into ImmsBC.
Pharmacy users must go to OneHealthID (www.healthprovideridentityportal.gov.bc.ca), click on ImmsBC, then click on one of the three buttons to use the desired service: Include your Pharmacy in ImmsBC, Claim your Pharmacy in ImmsBC and Manage Pharmacy Staff. Pharmacy managers (or a designated lead) should go in and "claim" their pharmacy as a first step (for pharmacies with a pre-existing ImmsBC account).
Instructions on how to use each of the services are provided in the video below and/or the reference guide.
