All pharmacies administering COVID-19 and/or influenza vaccinations are required to use ImmsBC.
ImmsBC supports pharmacies with inventory management, appointment scheduling, patient eligibility screening, patient vaccine administration record management, administration payments, and generating reports on COVID-19 and influenza vaccination activities. It is mandatory for pharmacies to use ImmsBC for COVID-19 and influenza vaccination participation.
ImmsBC is linked to the Get Vaccinated patient invitation system, which matches the provincial booking capacity to invitations sent to eligible British Columbians.
Please take the time to review each of the steps and training manuals before commencing an influenza and/or COVID-19 vaccine program in your pharmacy.
Pharmacies offering online Minor Ailments & Contraception Service (MACS) appointment booking can also be done through ImmsBC.
For MACS ImmsBC supports pharmacies with appointment scheduling only and some limited report generation. For MACS ImmsBC will not be used for record management or administration of payments.
All pharmacies providing publicly funded influenza vaccines are required to use ImmsBC to manage all aspects of the administration of flu and COVID-19 vaccines to British Columbians.
ImmsBC is used for scheduling, managing appointments, entering vaccine records and inventory. Patients are able to see if your pharmacy provides influenza vaccines, COVID-19 vaccines or both vaccination types prior to booking.
For pharmacies that currently have access to ImmsBC, no action is required.
For pharmacies not currently using ImmsBC, please register your pharmacy for ImmsBC access.

Annual Fall Vaccine Allocation Enrolment
To minimize wastage and ensure vaccines are allocated appropriately, all community pharmacies interested in participating in one or both fall influenza and COVID-19 immunization campaigns are required to enrol annually to receive an allocation of vaccine supply for the start of the campaigns.
